Costa del Sol and Madeira

Costa del Sol means Coast of the Sun. It is very well known tourist area on the coast of Southern Spain between about the cities La Linea and Nerja. The tourist area has grown continuously and there does not appear to be some end to this development in at least nearest horizon. Millions of tourists populate the coast throughout the year and more hotels, stores and restaurants are being built all the time.

Madeira is also world-famous Portuguese tourist destination on the Atlantic Ocean almost 600 km northwest from Africa. Its excellent competitive advantage is climate. Day time temperature fluctuates in Madeira between 18° and 24° C through the year. About 1,5 million foreign and Portuguese tourists visit Madeira yearly.

To be honest it is difficult to relax, calm down and concentrate to very many interesting historical and cultural destinations on these areas because of the huge amount of people and tourist action everywhere. In these pictures there is anyway some conscious effort to restrict the look and see Costa del Sol and Madeira as some calm and peaceful place like in old times.
